COMMUNITY AND FELLOWSHIP

Join Jennifer Vizina for a Basics Yoga Class on Sunday, August 5 in the Music Room after the 11:00 a.m. mass. The only thing you need to bring is your own yoga mat and clothes that you can move and stretch in.

This will be a 45-60 minute class with a focus on connecting the breath with the movement of the body, which in most circles is called Vinyasa Flow Yoga. This class will be filled with movement like Sun Salutations and will include seated stretching in addition to breathing exercises.

Jennifer recently received her 200-hour Yoga Alliance Teaching Certificate from Woodstock Yoga Center in Woodstock, NY, and is excited to share her new skill with the folks at Saint Peters!

August 26: Fiction Book Discussion - The Art of Fielding by Chad Harbach.  All are welcome to join in at 1:15 PM in the Plaza Room.

The non-fiction book group will be on hiatus for the summer.

The book for September 16 will be The Warmth of Other Suns by Isabel Wilkerson.
