Cuidiu Grant Opportunity
Grants to Obtain Capacity Building Assistance

Cuidiu
Grants are designed to "catapult" nonprofit organizations seeking new
opportunities for success.
Minimally
six Cuidiu Grants are available for 2010:
- Cuidiu Grants
for Coaching Services (each grant is 10 hours valued at $2,000).
- Cuidiu
Grants for one-year of Cuidiu Consulting for capacity building services
(each grant is valued to be determined by scope of services and up to
$10,000).
Grantees
will be chosen based on each organization's level of need and stage of
organizational development, as described in the organization's proposal. Recipients will be determined through an
application process.
Cuidiu
Grant Application Responses are due November 9, 2009. Selections will be
made by Cuidiu Consulting's Partner Consultants and Staff. Recipients
will be announced by Dec. 31, 2009, and the grants will be awarded for calendar
year 2010.

- Who
is eligible for a Cuidiu Grant - Any
nonprofit organization with 501(c)(3) status that has been in operation at
least two years. Depending on the
recipients' needs, services may include strategic planning, board engagement,
fundraising counsel, strategy planning, and business model development.
- Which
consultant would work with my organization - Consultants
will be matched to organizations based on the organizations' needs and the
consultants' expertise.
- What
is the value of a Cuidiu Grant - The
Cuidiu Coaching Grant has a value of $2,000. The value of the Cuidiu
Consulting grant will be determined by the scope of services agreed upon
by Cuidiu Consulting and the recipient, although it will exceed $2,000 and
could carry a value as high as $10,000.
- How
does my organization apply - Applicants
will be required to submit an application. Recipients
will be selected by Cuidiu's Consulting Partners and Staff. Responses are due
November 9, 2009.
- How
will recipients be determined - Organizations
will be selected based on level of need and stage of organizational
development, as described on their applications.
- When
will awardees be announced - Before
Dec. 15, 2009
- When
will the grants be awarded - Grants
will be effective Jan 1, 2010, for service rendered in calendar year 2010
