Iliana is a young woman in Chacraseca, Nicaragua, who, after the death of her infant child, learned to manage her grief by creating jewelry.
She gathers seeds in her community, and uses them to make jewelry, which she sells in the local market and to groups who visit Chacraseca.  Her creativity along with her business sense has made her home business successful enough that she has built her own small house in Chacraseca.
In 2010, Iliana gave birth again, to a healthy baby boy.
