Juan Pablo and Cecillia

Many (actually most) people in Nicaragua can't afford to get married.  Civil ceremonies are expensive -- they require a lawyer/ notary, and birth certificates -- something many Nicaraguans don't have.  Church weddings (which have no legal status in Nicaragua) traditionally mean rings and at least some expenses with the ceremony.   So for the 20 years they have been sharing their lives and raising their family, Juan Pablo (JustHope's driver)

and Cecillia have dreamed of someday getting legally and religiously married.

"Someday" came for them on October 28th...

Juan Pablo and Cecillia gathered (in the pouring Nicaraguan rain) at their church, and with 150 or so of their friends and relatives as witnesses, they "officially" said "I do!"

 FELICIDADES!   CONGRATULATIONS!
