In our last micro-credit meeting in Chacraseca, Marta shared with us her sheer joy that along with more food on her table, her business
had enabled her to buy 2 chairs for her house -
the first chairs she has ever owned in her life.

IN 2011 you helped us complete clean water projects in Santa Emilia and La Flor; start a high school in Santa Emilia; and expand our microcredit programs to serve 80 women. We also provided 125 elementary-school scholarships; continued to support a growing music program in the Chacraseca schools; and built two houses. We helped a group of women open a "Ferreteria" (hardware store); partnered with friends to buy a communal tractor and open a Farmer's Market; and built a Community Store in La Flor JustHope provided $700 per month in medication and staff support for the clinic in Chacraseca, and supported both the clinic in Santa Emilia and a 'traveling clinic' project in La Flor. In addition we sponsored a variety of training and stabilization programs for the leadership teams in all our Nicaraguan partner communities. YOUR 2011 GIFTS MADE A HUGE DIFFERENCE... THANK YOU!
