Hello Again!
I realized with some surprise that January is Almost Over and I hadn't done my monthly newsletter yet! Without further ado, here it is. I hope everyone had a good holiday and new year and is looking ahead with with hope and serenity.

NEW BEGINNINGS: BREATHE, NOW
It is conclusively a new year: Not only 2009, but the Year of the Ox as well. A time to pay attention to our domestic responsibilities, work hard, keep our focus, and remember to be kind to all, including ourselves. Whatever one's persuasion, the recent Inauguration of a new President of the United States had to bring a message of hope, inclusion, thoughtful process, and peace. I don't remember ever listening to an event of this nature and hearing the word LOVE used so prominently. It reminded me of reading about a meeting with the revered Jin Shin Jyutsu teacher, Mary Burmeister, where she gently stressed that love for all creation IS the way. It seems to me that if we can bear this idea in mind, we'll get through the tough work ahead which faces all of us, especially in an Ox year where gains can seem to be very far away. My hope is that my products will be of assistance, of course, smoothing the rough spots in our lives and skins!
Meanwhile, I'll harp once again on BREATHING. This is a simple and necessary thing for us, and one we often overlook. Those days when you realize your shoulders are up at your ears? Breathe. The days when you feel like you can't breathe because your chest is tight? Deep breaths. Sometimes you or someone in your household can't settle down? Breathe together. I notice sometimes when our parrots get so ramped up during their playtimes that they just can't simmer down when its time to go back into their "houses", if I can get them to sit on me for a minute they start breathing along with me. They calm down and once again it strikes them that its a good idea to go drink some water and take some refreshment. We can do the same.
I wish you all good breathing! Next month's newsletter, it being Valentine's Day time and all, we'll talk about love some more. OH! I almost forgot! Speaking of love, I have a CONTEST for you all. I had recently to rename a product due to a trademark issue of which I was originally unaware. The new name is LOVING TOUCH and you will probably remember what it used to be, since it had the word LOVE in the name. ANYWAY, since I can't use that name or anything like it anymore. I'd like to ask you all to ponder a new name that includes the whole thing about love, and energy, and fun...and the hope those things bring? Those of you who've used ...er...that cream...may have some additional ideas? The winner will get a FREE JAR of any cream. So: Please enter my contest! The lovely picture above was taken by my friend Elvira Coderch. It is a wild rose. This flower isn't in the Clearing and Healing Cream, but I like it so much I had to put it in with its' own complete space!
Meanwhile, regarding the Clearing and Healing Cream: This winter I had an irritated,itchy spot that nothing resolved. I finally put some Clearing and Healing cream on it and to my amazement the spot clarified itself so I could see what it was and treat it appropriately. (It turned out to be a bite.) This is another helpful use for this, in my opinion, wonderful cream. It also helps with yeast-based rashes, and in combination with a good probiotic can almost eliminate them. I hope you will try it!
