Adventure Base 100 Confirmed for Freedom Festival!
Did you happen to see the Rose Bowl parade last month? If you did, you saw the the Boy Scouts float ride proudly. Also, Pasadena on that day was the kickoff for the Adventure Base 100, an interactive 10,000 square foot display with a ropes course, interactive museum and much more. Adventure Base 100 - the "100" is for the 100th year of Scouting - will stop at 40 locations around the country and Freedom Festival in Cedar Rapids will be one of them. The Base will be at Kirkwood Community College on June 18th and 19th. Come on out to celebrate Scouting and share your memories.

Mark you calendars now for a morning for fun, sport and support of Scouting! Our first ever Sporting Clays Shoot for Scouting, presented in part by Scheels All Sports of Coralville, will take place June 12th. The cost is $125 per shooter (open to the public - youth and adults age 14 and up) includes ten station shoot, lunch and recognition.
