The Black Background Stays
But I've heard your cries to make the links more readable, ...so no more dark blue links. In fact, the text colors seem to be all over the place depending on what browser, what e-mail utility, or what monitor you use. For some, Thunderbird didn't like my newsletter, for others, pics didn't display. Such is the state of html conflicts on websites and e-mails. I've already queried CONSTANT CONTACT about possible fixes.

So Many Great Coaches -- So Little Time :
I wouldn't even BE here without Alice Whitfield. How I could've overlooked a mention of her awesome service to voice-actors I'll never know (groggy at 3am I guess). At any rate, Alice is tempered and seasoned by years of entertainment work in New York City. 40 years as a writer, casting director, producer and
director. We're just lucky to have someone of her caliber here in Las Vegas. She helped me get my first demo off the ground. Thanks, Alice! SEE HER PERSONAL COACHING WEBSITE HERE
I searched and searched last night for Deb Munro's voice-coaching website. Apparently, I didn't look deep enough. Here it is: CLICK. Also, Deb reminds me that there is also now a dedicated website just for their voice-over cruise planned for '09. CLICK.
An old friend, Scott Shurian also reminded me that among his many talents he's a voice coach with a long track record of success, and I post his coaching website link HERE with my full recommendation. 20 years of his experience is well worth your time with Scott.
Finally, apologies to voice coach Bettye Zoller, for spelling her name without the "e" at the end. Me...a guy who spells "Courvoisier" all day every day for people....I still forgot to add the siimple "e" at the end!

200...
...was the mailing list magic number to send my first newsletter. I feel pretty good that 179 made it through. I'd also highly recommend Constant Contact as your e-mail service if you're thinking about doing this. It's pretty slick....telling you who opened your e-mail, who clicked-through, and who didn't even get it. Nice stats!
If you know of others who want to or might like to get my newsletter, please pass along my e-mail (below) and I'll add them to the e-mail list. After I sent the mail, I realized how many names I'd forgotten to put on...my own sisters and other personal friends among them.
I particularly want to thank those who sent thoughtful, lengthy responses with kudos as well as criticisms.
Apparently, most everyone liked the 'VEGAS STEROTYPES" section the best.
