Souvenir T-shirts available in X, XL, & XXL for $10.  Email summit@sfcommunityliving.org for more information.

The Summit was a grand success.  An estimated 625 attended some or all of the activities.  Included in that number were over 170 people who  volunteered to help in some way - tutoring in the CTN Computer Cafe, leading workshops, making presentations, staffing resource tables, handling registration, lunch service, translation, hospitality, disability access assistance, and more.  We arranged accommodations for over 25 people needing assisted listening devices, American Sign Language, special seating, wheelchair access, special diets, Braille and big-print agendas and material, and the like.

We provided prefessional interpretation of the plenaries and workshops in Spanish, Cantonese and American Sign Language, and offered language assistance throughout the day  in these languages as well Mandarin, Italian, Korean, Russian and Tagalog.

Tell Us What You Know about Community Supports

Family Services Agency, in partnership with other local groups, is compiling a resource guide that will fill an essential information gap  "Community Supports for Seniors and Adults with Disabilities in San Francisco Resource Guide."

We all know that many of the things that help seniors and persons with disabilities depend on come from local faith communities, neighborhood associations, community services organizations and the like.  The survey will only take 5-10 minutes to complete, but will provide essential information about local opportunities such as friendly visitors, community and city social groups, grocery or medicine delivery, and other resources  in the neighborhoods or across the City.

There are  two different survey forms.  You are welcome to fill out both forms, if they apply.

To tell about community supports that your organization provides, please click on the survey form HERE.

For residents of San Francisco to list supports they know about and think should be included in the guide, please click on survey form HERE.

You can also print the forms and fill them out on paper.  Paul Grant from Family Service Ag Service Agency will be at 360 Valencia Street to help (see below).    Thank you for adding to this Community Resource Guide, which we believe will be helpful to a great number of San Franciscans!
