Greetings!
We all look forward to the change of pace that summer brings. May the days ahead find you enjoying the company of your family and friends, basking in the beauty of God's creation, time for reading and reflection which will enrich your spirit, and opportunities to look at the world around you with a new lens -- a lens that lets you see how blessed we are and how many blessings we have to share with others.

Confirmation Impression

Fifty teens at St. Perpetua were confirmed last month! The teens completed St. Perpetua's preparation program (catechesis, service, a weekend retreat, and prayer) that started in the Fall. Next year's program will start welcoming teens in September.

Parish Support
| |
One of the biggest challenges facing St. Perpetua is to predict our revenues, particularly during the summer months. Electronic giving is a program that has been successful at St. Perpetua with over 130 families participating. Your contribution can automatically be charged monthly to your bank card. For those not currently signed up, please consider this method of supporting your parish. Go here to sign up.
For more information contact Kathy Geddes at 283-0272#207.
Thank you so much for your generosity.

Shoes That Fit
The Outreach Committee will roll out a new program called Shoes That Fit this fall. We will need help with bulletin boards, communications, reporting, forms, transportation & more.
Shoes That Fit helps children in need by providing them with new shoes so they can attend school in comfort and with dignity. We'll work with Los Medanos Elementary School in Pittsburg. The school identifies children in need and gives us their shoe sizes. A bulletin board in our church will display cards with the names and shoe needs of children at the school. Parishioners can take a card, purchase the shoes listed, and return them to the church. We'll coordinate delivery to the school.
Questions or would like to get involved?
