Greetings!
The Great Fifty Days of the Easter Season culminate in the Feast of Pentecost on May 27. The gift of the Holy Spirit bestowed on the Church and all its people, brings enthusiasm and vitality to all who open their lives to God's grace and love. Take a look at the wonderful things happening in our community undress the inspiration of the Holy Spirit. May that Spirit of our Risen Lord find an eager welcome in your heart and in your home.
Come, Holy Spirit, fill the hearts of your faithful,
And kindle in them the fire of your love!
Father John Kasper, osfs

Easter Egg Hunt
|
Sunny skies and spring blossoms added to the beauty of our Easter Sunday celebration at St. Perpetua. After the 9:30 a.m. Mass, many parishioners joined in fellowship with coffee and donuts while children of all ages searched for the 2,000 eggs hidden on the lawn behind the school. The Easter Bunny was available for visits and pictures to remember the day. In a little over an hour, 91 instant photos with the Easter Bunny were given away.
Our outdoor amphitheater and the large expanse of lawn are a perfect site for the annual Easter Egg Hunt sponsored by the Knights of Columbus. The Knights greatly appreciate the support of the parish in making this event a success. While many Knights participated in the morning activities, particular acknowledgement is due Pat Hennessy who chaired the event and to Brian Mosel who made possible the visit from the Easter Bunny.

Registration packets for Fall 2012 will be sent home the first week of August. Please check the church website during the summer if you need to verify class schedules.
This month we will email a Faith Formation parent survey to each family. Your participation in the survey is important so that we may identify strengths and needed improvements in order to provide an outstanding faith formation program for our children.
