CURB APPEAL PLUS+++
|
This summer
has provided us with the chance to make some major improvements to our
facilities:
· exterior
painting of three building: parish office, chapel building, church/hall
· paving,
re-sealing and striping of the lower parking lot
· new front doors to the parish hall
School
improvements include:
· renovation
of four classrooms (grades 1-4), including new ceiling, lighting, flooring, and
wall surfaces; new front doors; raised hallway ceiling and new lighting
· carpeting
in Panther House
· security
barriers for pedestrian safety
These
improvements are made possible by the generosity of our parishioners and school
parents. Parishioners have
contributed nearly $50,000 to help cover the cost of the church improvements
and school parents raised $180,000 at last year's auction/dinner towards school
improvements. What a tremendous sign of dedication and support! Thank you.

The Edge program begins Oct. 5th at 6:45pm. All middle school youth are invited to join this fun and educational program that gives them the foundation of Jesus in their lives. Studies show that youth with religious backgrounds are better able to handle life's challenges, do better in school, have better family relationships and are more successful at avoiding risky relationships. Forms can be found on the church website or at the parish office. Registration ends Sept. 20 so get your forms in soon! The Edge core team is also looking for high school students and adults to be small group leaders and music leaders. All lessons are already prepared; you just need to come ready to engage our youth in fun activities and discussion. Any questions, please call Michelle Chan at 899-1700 or email at mmchan6@yahoo.com.
