A Taste of St. Perpetua
|
On Friday, November 13th, the parish hall was transformed into an elegant dining experience for the first annual Taste of St. Perpetua. 22 chefs comprised of school parents shared their signature dishes which were paired with delicious wines and wonderful company. Even Father John got in the act serving "pumpkin eclairs" - made form scratch. St. Perpetua School is grateful to all who participated!

The Edge Overnight
|
St. Perpetua's middle school youth attended a retreat Nov. 14 and 15 at the Oakland Diocese Youth Retreat Center in Lafayette. Our youth played games, enjoyed music and videos and discovered how they can be hands and feet of Jesus and continue His discipleship. The weekend closed with the celebration of the Eucharist. The retreat was such a success we plan to make it a yearly event for our middle school youth and encourage our high school youth to take on the leadership roles. |

Liturgical Ministers Needed
|
THANK YOU to all who responded to our plea last month, but we still need Eucharistic Ministers, Lectors and altar servers. Please help us out to avoid burn out and over scheduling for our current ministers.
Altar Servers Both adults and youth in fourth grade and older, help with preparations before Mass, assist the presider during the service, and lead the procession with the gifts. To become a server, click here.
Eucharistic Ministers Share the bread and cup with the assembly at Eucharist. To become a Eucharistic Minister, click here. Lectors Proclaim the Word of God in our worship. They prepare to minister by prayer, practice and reflection on Scripture. To become a Lector, click here.
