Are You Rooted?

In the month of July we had an opportunity to thank all of those that serve here at Cornerstone.  We planned a special service and got to see all the different ministries walk through the sanctuary in our thank you parade.  It was amazing.  Before me I saw people that were rooted in God's house.  They were happy, passionate, and looked so blessed as they displayed their ministry sign in the parade.  Do you know that when you are rooted in the local church God will bless you?  You'll begin to produce fruit in your life.  Being rooted is essential in your walk with God.  Have you experienced the joys of serving and being rooted in your local church?

David's Mighty Men and Women of Purpose meet on the 2nd Wednesday of every month. In the month of August the men enjoyed a great cook out while the women began a new series entitled Heavenly Housework. Here's a brand new announcement!  Cornerstone will embark on a once-in-a-lifetime trip to Israel on March 8th-19th, 2009.  We will team up with Pastor David Ferranti of Bay Valley Church for this incredible journey through the Holy Land as we see where Jesus walked and ministered.  For more inforation on this upcoming trip, please stop by the General Ministries Section of Guest Services to sign up for a brochure.

 

We are excited to announce the beginning of a new choir season here at Cornerstone.  This year we are striving to make it fresh for all those that love worshiping the Lord in song.  In order to do this we will move rehearsal times to Sunday Mornings during our 2nd service,  from 11:45 a.m. to 12:30 in the Ignited Center Coliseum.  We will be redesigning the rehearsal format, and learning minimal new songs to make it easy for anyone to join the choir.  The new season will begin on September 7th. We would love for you to come and join us worship God.
