Endowment
Nave electrical updates almost complete
In August work began on updates to the nave electrical system, much of which is original to the Cathedral building. Over the past few months contractors have replaced wiring and lighting, consolidated switches, and added capacity to the system. In addition, a generator has been installed for emergency lighting and auxiliary power in the nave. Read more.

A visit to the Huber collection
at the High Museum
Russell and Jack Huber are long-time members of the Cathedral of St. Philip and avid collectors of American art from the turn of the twentieth century. Join a special guided tour with the Hubers as they talk about their collection of more than 30 works currently on display at the High Museum of Art. The tour will be Friday, November 11. Meet in the Cathedral atrium at 10 a.m. or at the High Museum at 10:30 a.m. Admission cost is $13 for adults, free for High Museum members. Children's Ministries
Christmas Pageant Sign-Ups
It is time to sign up for the annual 4 p.m. Christmas Eve Pageant. All children who are registered in the 4-year-old through 5th grade Sunday school classes are welcome. If your child is not registered, please contact Emily Bazzel or register here. A pageant sign-up table will be in the atrium beginning Sunday, November 20. The deadline to sign up is Sunday, December 11. For more information, contact Sara Chapman. Please join us for this wonderful Cathedral tradition as we retell the story of Jesus' birth. The Christmas Pageant is on Saturday, December 24 at 4 p.m. in the Cathedral.
Advent Wreath-Making and Spaghetti Dinner
The Cathedral's annual advent wreath-making event will take place on Sunday, November 27 from 5:30-7 p.m. in Child Hall. A spaghetti dinner provided by Five Star Culinary group follows the wreath-making activity. Read more.

Waiting for New Life-Advent Quiet Day
Give yourself the gift of quiet and reflection during our annual Advent Quiet Day led by Canon Beth Knowlton. This day of renewal will be Saturday, December 10, 9 a.m.-2 p.m. in the Lanier House.
