Watch the race and celebrate Eucharist at St. Philip's
Everyone is invited to the Cathedral of St. Philip to watch the annual Peachtree Road Race on Monday, July 4. If you're not running, plan to bring your family and friends, a chair or blanket, and share water, coffee and muffins beginning at 6:30 a.m. If you are driving, please plan to arrive by 6:30 a.m. when Peachtree Road is closed to vehicles in this area. We will cheer the runners and celebrate Eucharist together on the lawn after the race.

Old Fashioned Sunday School: Ten Essential Bible Stories

Canterbury Road: A discussion of Episcopal theology, history, and practice (Room 380)
Beginning Sunday, June 19 the Rev. Buddy Crawford and Canon Todd Smelser will lead a new class for adults who wish to be baptized, confirmed or received into The Episcopal Church. The class is also designed for members who desire a "refresher" or the opportunity to delve deeper in Episcopal identity. Class meets on Sundays at 10:10 a.m.

17th Annual Summer Organ Festival begins tonight
Tonight, Wednesday, June 22 the Atlanta Summer Organ Festival opens its 17th season with a recital at Christ the King Catholic Cathedral by Renée Anne Louprette. Next Wednesday, June 29 the Cathedral of St. Philip will host the next recital in the series performed by Maxine Thevenot, Director of Cathedral Music and Organist at the Cathedral of St John in Albuquerque, NM. The Cathedral Choir needs your photos
As a fundraiser for their 2013 pilgrimage to St. Paul's and Canterbury Cathedrals in England, the Cathedral Choir is creating a calendar that will celebrate the diverse life of the Cathedral of St. Philip. The calendar, to be ready for sale this fall, will feature photos of the vast scope of activities that take place at the Cathedral every year. Learn more.

Wedding Guild training
Are you interested in joining the Cathedral's Wedding Guild or perhaps just want to learn more about the guild's role? The Wedding Guild is a diverse group who have the key responsibility of shepherding the brides, grooms, families and wedding party members through rehearsal and wedding logistics. 20s30s go tubing on the ChattahoocheeOn Saturday, June 25 the 20s30s will be leisurely floating down the Chattahoochee River on tubes. Come relax for a few hours on the river. Wear a bathing suit, sun screen, and shoes you can wear in the water. Bring something to drink/share and a towel. We usually start north of the city and get out just before I-285. Fellini's Bible Studies during the summer
Join us for Bible Study on Wednesdays this summer! 9th-12th grade Upper School students and 7th-8th grade Middle School students will meet from 7 to 8 p.m. at Fellini's (across the street from the Cathedral).
Please bring money to help out with meals. Scripture is provided.

Holiday festivities at the Cathedral Farmers Market
Spend the Independence Day holiday weekend at the Cathedral Farmers Market. On July 2 we'll have live music, a special healthy eating program for kids, and your favorite farmers, artists and food creators. It's the perfect place to bring out-of-town guests.
The Market is open every Saturday in the Cathedral parking lot from 8:30 a.m. to noon, rain or shine.
