Old Fashioned Sunday School: Ten Essential Bible Stories
Please join us for our special summer series, The Ten Essential Bible Stories. Each Sunday at 10:10 a.m. in Child Hall, a new speaker will present the fundamentals for each of the ten Bible stories and why they are essential to life in the world today.

Readers are needed for Pentecost Sunday services, June 12 at 8:45 and 11:15 a.m. Anyone who can read and speak in a language other than English is invited to join the reading of the Gospel. You do not have to be an expert, you do not have to find your own translation, and you do not have to read alone! Everyone is Invited to Join Elders Celebrating St. Anthony, June 12
In celebration of St. Anthony of Padua, the Elder Ministry Council will hold its third annual picnic on Sunday, June 12 after the 11:15 a.m. service on the Lanier House Lawn (rain location: Child Hall). All elders, their friends and families are welcome. BYOS (Bring Your Own Sandwich) and celebrate St. Anthony. Beverages and dessert will be provided and there will be door prizes. 20s30s Home Help to a Senior
Saturday, June 18 9 a.m.-1 p.m. Meet: 8:30 a.m. at the Cathedral (subject to change based on the location of the home)The 20s30s will be going to the home of a low-income senior citizen in Fulton County to perform basic home maintenance. Based on the number of volunteers and the weather forecast we will either be helping with yard work or painting. For more details and to RSVP see the evite. Come out and join us in helping a deserving senior citizen enjoy a beautiful home and yard. We will meet at the Cathedral to carpool over to the home. Week of Wonder is next week, June 6-10!
The 2011 Week of Wonder (WOW) is a creation-themed Vacation Bible School centered on the Parable of the Sower. Each day includes age appropriate crafts, music, games and Bible stories for all registered participants. WOW takes place next week, from 9 a.m. to noon, Monday through Friday, at the Cathedral! |
Summer allegro Music Program for Ages Birth to 8!
If you want a fun, structured activity for your child this summer, allegro is the place to be. Join us on Mondays, beginning June 13 through August 28. Babies and toddlers up to age three will meet from 10:30 to 11 a.m. Three-and four-year-olds will meet from 12:30 to 1:15 p.m. and children from five to eight will meet from 1:30 to 2:15 p.m. Once school resumes in August, class times for the older children will be adjusted to fit school schedules.
