20s30s Home Help to a Senior
The 20s30s will be going to the home of a low-income senior citizen in Fulton County to perform basic home maintenance. Based on the number of volunteers and the weather forecast we will either be helping with yard work or painting. Come out and join us in helping a deserving senior citizen enjoy a beautiful home and yard. We will meet at the Cathedral to carpool over to the home. For more details and to RSVP, contact Melissa Anderson.
Parish Life
Five Star Summer Schedule

Beginning May 31,  Five Star Culinary Group will begin a summer schedule of serving lunches Tuesdays through Thursdays. Wednesday night suppers will resume in late August.

Help update the parish directory

The Cathedral of St. Philip will print a basic parish directory without individual photos--only names, addresses, and phone numbers--to be handed out at Homecoming in August. On Sundays in May, we will have binders available in the Atrium for you to review your listing and make corrections.

If you have questions or are unable to come to the Cathedral in May, please contact Dan Murphy, Program Coordinator for Stewardship and Membership, 404-365-1079. Thank you for your help!

Week of Wonder, June 6-10
Have Trash? Let us recycle your trash into art!

Between now and Tuesday,  May 31, Children's Ministries' volunteers are collecting empty egg cartons and empty tennis ball cans (with lids, please) to use for art projects during Week of Wonder (WOW) this summer. Our WOW theme is ReNew, and we will be learning about ways to care about creation, including fun ways to recycle. You may help our volunteers by dropping off the needed items at the Information Desk during the week or at the Nurturing Center on Sunday mornings. Thank you!

Youth Volunteers Needed for WOW (June 6-10)
We need your help to make Week of Wonder great again this year.
· Youth Volunteers will be asked to commit to all five mornings, from 8:30 a.m. - 12:15 p.m.
·  All Youth Volunteers must attend a mandatory WOW Training Session
on Wednesday, June 1, from 5:45 - 6:45 p.m.
·  All Youth Volunteers will receive 20 hours of community service for the week.
To register, visit the youth webpage and follow the link to the Youth Volunteer application. Contact our Director of Children's Ministries, Mary Hunter Strange, with any questions.
Stewardship
We did it!

1,075 households have pledged more than $3,300,000 for the 2011 Stewardship Campaign. We have raised the pledges we need to meet the budgeted expenses for the year! Congratulations and thanks for making this happen.  Read more.
