Two of our wonderful parents at the Cathedral of St. Philip were listening closely this past Sunday. It goes without saying, I hope, that they were listening during the service, and during the Dean's Forum class!

However, they were also listening to their children. Now, I believe our children's program is one of the best in the country, and I am delighted by what goes on in children's classes Sunday after Sunday. read more

Classes meet at 10:10 a.m. on Sundays.

Canon Beth Knowlton
Old Fashioned Sunday School (Room 382)

The Easter Vigil is one of our oldest liturgies. It has the drama of a bonfire on Peachtree Road, the first lighting of the Paschal candle that we use for the rest of the year, a candlelit recounting of our salvation history, baptism, and the first celebration of the resurrection complete with bells and incense. Come find out why it is worth it to get up in the wee hours of the morning to join this particular telling of our story.  Learn more about the class.
