September is a busy month at Special Olympics Minnesota. We have tons of fundraising events on the calendar, as well as the first ever Torch Run Conference, paired with the annual Leadership Conference. We are excited for a busy month filled with activities to raise funds for our Special Olympics Minnesota athletes. Be sure to check out the Torch Run Events page for details on upcoming events. Ian Leonard Golf Tournament and Online Auction
Remember our favorite meteorologist - Ian Leonard - from Fox 9? He's busy supporting Special Olympics Minnesota year round, and his latest contribution is theIan Leonard Bad Pants Open charity celebrity golf tournament. The event is this Thursday, Sept. 15, at Medina Golf & Country Club. In true Ian Leonard fashion, FUN will be the emphasis of the day. The tournament will feature an 18-hole fivesome scramble format with a local sports/media celebrity or PGA professional paired with each sponsor's foursome.
There will be a deluxe concept store golfer gift package, team prizes for the best (and worst!) bad pants, carts, lunch and much more all included!

Truck Convoy The 7th Annual Truck Convoy for Special Olympics Minnesota is coming up on Sept. 30-Oct. 1. The event will be held at a new venue this year, the National Sports Center/Schwan Event Center. We are in need of law enforcement to attend the event and help escort the route.
