Conference Registration Filling Fast - Sign Up Today
Rooms are filling up fast for the 2011 Law Enforcement Torch Run Conference at Treasure Island Resort & Casino so we encourage you to get your registration forms in early! For just $25, law enforcement will receive a Friday night stay at Treasure Island, class registration for both conference days, all meals both days, and a ticket to Saturday night's Distinguished Service Awards banquet. This conference will be a great opportunity for law enforcement to learn more about Torch Run and Special Olympics Minnesota and get to know fellow Torch Run participants throughout the state. Annual Award Nominations Due There are so many law enforcement personnel throughout Minnesota who do amazing things for Special Olympics Minnesota and the Torch Run. Now is your chance to nominate an officer who goes above and beyond for the Hall of Fame or Unsung Hero awards. International Torch Run Conference Applications This year, the conference will be held in Calgary, Canada November 3-5. Every year the International Conference provides an opportunity for Torch Run volunteers to network, share and learn how to improve their local Torch Run programs, which contribute greatly to increasing public awareness and enhancing the lives of Special Olympics athletes throughout the world.
