CRI Adaptive Athletes Compete in Bayada
Bayada Regatta, Schuylkill River

On Saturday, August 18th, 5 athletes from CRI's Adaptive Rowing program traveled to the Schuylkill River in Philadelphia, PA to compete in the Bayada Regatta with excellent results!

Competing in the Mens LTA 2x, Matt McLaughlin and Mike Ricker earned a silver medal, as did Jaden Thoennes in the Women's TA 1x.  Priscilla Lowell competed in the Women's LTA 1x, and James Tabares in the Men's LTA 1x , who rowed the 3rd fastest time in both heats at 4:26.24 to make the final!!

CRI faced sharp competition from Athletes Without Limits, Capital Adaptive Rowing, Louisville Adaptive Rowing, and Philadelphia Adaptive Rowing, as well as Holyoke Rows, Three Rivers Rowing Association, and a few smaller clubs who sent only one or two athletes. This was the largest Bayada to date, and CRI athletes are looking forward to a meeting these rowers again, on the water.
