Welcome Tracy Smith
Director of Development

We are pleased to extend a warm welcome to Tracy Smith, our new Director of Development at Community Rowing, Inc. With a professional background in marketing and public relations, and a rowing resume that includes the 1992 Olympic Games and three United States Rowing Teams, Tracy is exceptionally well prepared to advance Community Rowing's mission of "Rowing for All".

Prior to joining CRI Tracy served as the Director of Marketing for Copley Wolff Design Group, an award winning commercial landscape architectural firm in Downtown Boston. Tracy is a graduate of Syracuse University, and a two-time recipient of the Syracuse University Verhulst Award for Athletic Excellence and Leadership.

We are excited to have the benefit of Tracy's leadership and skill as we work to expand our support for outreach programming, increase our number of corporate partners, and deepen our relationships with rowers and supporters of Community Rowing both locally and nationally.

Tracy, we welcome you!

Community Rowing, Inc. Stock Image 1
Let's Pull Together to care for the river we at CRI love so much!!

Calling for CRI members to volunteer to assist with the 13th Annual Earth Day Charles River Cleanup which will take place on Saturday, April 21, 2012, from 9am - 12pm.

Volunteer groups will work together during a fun and rewarding event to enhance the Charles River. A cookout will also be offered after the Cleanup at the Hatch Shell for volunteers who would like to attend.

CRI has participated in the past, and it would be nice to lend a hand once again. CRI has been invited to join the office of Senator Will Brownsberger to tend to stretches of the Charles here in Allston/Brighton, specifically between Eliot Bridge and the intersection of Nonantum Road and Galen Street  - our very own neighborhood!! Senator Brownsberger's office will work with a group from CRI providing volunteer t-shirts, supplies and snacks for the event.

We are hoping to find CRI members willing to get out there on April 21 and help.

Here is what we need:

1.) A Volunteer Coordinator - mostly just a contact person

2.) 100 Volunteers

To volunteer, please contact Nonna at:
