Lowell Invite Results

Wet!  That just about sums up the nasty weather this past Sunday up at Lowell.  Nonetheless, we managed to sneak in some good racing, as both our Varsity and Novice Girls teams tested their plans for the NE Regional next weekend, which is of course the qualifying round for the grand finale at US National in June!

Here are the results as posted by the hosting coaches after the races (note that medals are won by each flight entered, not necessarily best times overall):

Varsity Girls:

All three of our Eights (1V8+, 2V8+ and 3V8+) medaled with Gold!

Our Lwt8+ struck Gold decisively .

Our second Lwt8+ also captured Bronze.

Our four Lwt4+ swept up a royal flush (2 Golds, 1 Silver and 1 Bronze).

As did our V4+ (Gold, Silver and Bronze).

Our 2X won Gold and 2 Silver medals.

        Our 2- won Bronze.

Our 1X won Gold and Silver.

For complete results, please click here >>> https://www.regattacentral.com/regatta/results/1922_3820.pdf (also attached).

Novice Girls:

Three of our four N8+ medaled (1 Gold & 2 Silver).

Congratulations to all the athletes, and of course their respective coaches, for a job well done!!

Our team photographer, Gerry Roy was present to snap up hundreds of shots. To view the complete gallery please visit his website
