"Feline" like a sculling race??
CRI's Third Annual Headless Halloween Fun Row Sunday October 31st. Racing begins at 9:00.
"Feline" like a sculling race...well, you don't have to be a superhero to join us for CRI's Annual Headless Halloween Fun Row on Sunday morning, October 31st!
Come to compete or just to watch the racers go by and admire their costumes. Stay after the racing is over to enjoy some delicious brunch foods and congratulate the winners (including those for Best Costume and Best Rowing Style).
The race is a little over two miles in length. The moderately-buoyed course starts about three hundred yards downstream of the Head of the Charles finish line and finishes by the Harry Parker boathouse. There will be separate categories for various age groups, and for novices as well. In fact, novices are strongly encouraged to come on out and make your first race experience an unforgettable and friendly one right on your home water. The race is open to a wide range of boats (B boats and tubbies included). To sign up, email Chris Flynn at cflynnusa@netscape.net.
And, finally, be on the lookout for information about how to order a fabulous regatta t-shirt, designed by sculler/artist extraordinaire, Molly Scannell.
