Have you forgotten something?? Don't forget to register for CRI's Third Annual Headless Halloween Fun Row Sunday October 31st. Racing begins at 9:00.
Sign up to race in the highlight event of the CRI scullers' calendar, the Halloween Headless Regatta! We've got several race categories, lots of ways to win prizes, (including awards for Best Costume, Best Rowing Style, Best Costume on the Dock) and the best post-race brunch this side of the Mississippi. The race follows a moderately buoyed course from near the HOCR finish line upstream to conclude right in front of our Harry Parker Boathouse. Even if you've never raced before, this is one event you must try. When else can you be cheered across the line by people in wild make-up and outrageous costumes? And what other regatta signals that you've crossed by blowing a clown horn? The race is open to a wide range of boats (B boats and tubbies included). To sign up, email Chris Flynn at [email protected].
And, finally, be on the lookout for information about how to order a fabulous regatta t-shirt, designed by sculler/artist extraordinaire, Molly Scannell.
