I. Collection of CRI photos

II.  Rumble on the River
Rachele Pojednic has been organizing the lead-in event for CRI's 25th Anniversary Celebration. The Rumble on the River will be held on Sunday, September 19th for 12:00pm-4:00pm. "The Rumble" will draw crowds to the banks of the Charles for extraordinary duels between Olympians, military veterans, collegiate rivals and corporate sponsors. The festival scene will occur at CRI's Harry Parker Boathouse and will feature exciting races, live commentary, local bands, fun, food and drink.
 
Volunteers are needed to assist with:
 
Community Outreach: CRI needs reps to help network in local communities so "The Rumble" will attract a new and wide audience. We have an extensive community outreach plan that needs to be executed via: attending local meetings as a CRI representative to promote the event, helping to post event information on community links and websites, etc. along with the distribution of marketing materials and flyers.

·  Regatta On Water Staff - Total personnel per race: 24
·  Regatta On Land Staff - 5 per shift (1 Schedule Coordinator, 1 Equipment Manager, 3 Support)
·  Rumble Set-up - 20 (Stage, Tables, Chairs, etc)
·  Rumble Welcome Committee - 5 per shift (Check ID's, Give information re: CRI, Community Relations)
·  Beer Garden - 5 per shift (Check ID's, Crowd Management)
·  VIP Staff - 20 (2 per band, 3 for media, 5 for Corporate)
·  Athlete Management Staff - 12 (2 per elite athlete, one per team)
·  Clean Up - 20

III. Women In Rowing Luncheon at CRI-(1974-1984) National Teams Reunion - Saturday, September 25th
This luncheon will bring together the accomplished women members of the National Teams from 1974 - 1984 for a reunion luncheon to honor all women in rowing.  The catered luncheon will be held in CRI's Community Room and will begin at 12pm.  We will need 5 set-up folks and 5 clean-up folks.  If you are interested in working on this event contact: Nonna Gale at  nonnagale@earthlink.net

IV. Women In Rowing Brunch and Fun Row - Sunday, September 26th 8:30 -10:30 a.m.
 
This exciting event will involve composite boats of National Team members, CRI's women and Jr. women sweep rowers & scullers and our own G-ROW Boston Team taking a fun row around the Charles River.  While no racing will be involved, it gives all women rowers a chance to hang out and row with each other.  The row will be followed by a traditional rowers' brunch of bagels, bananas, peanut butter, etc.  A new sweep boat will also be dedicated at the event. 
 
20-25 volunteers are needed to assist with:
·        1 volunteer assist Alice Taggart w/boating lineups
·        6 volunteers to act as dock masters
·        2 volunteers to be safety launch drivers
·        1 photographer to document the morning
·        2 food shoppers to coordinate food needs
·        5 set-up folks
·        5 clean-up folks

V.   25th Anniversary Gala
 
On Saturday, September 25th, CRI will host a "25th Anniversary Gala" at the boathouse. There will be dinner, dancing, live music and auction. The event kicks off at:
 
6:00pm-7:30pm: Cocktails, Silent Auction in the Sculling Pavilion.
7:30pm-8:30pm: Buffet Dinner in the main boat bay
8:30pm-9:00pm: Coffee, Dessert, and Program Celebrating CRI's 25th Anniversary
9:00pm-10:00pm: Dancing and Live Music
 
65-70 Volunteers are needed to assist with:
·        6-8   volunteers at Welcome/Check-In Table-
·        6      volunteers for the Auction Set-Up and Close-out
·        15    volunteers for table and chair set up-
·        10    volunteers for lighting in the tent and on the docks
·        15    volunteers for decorating the tables, centerpieces
·        15    volunteers for day after clean up
