The cookout was a success with perfect summer New England weather,
fun tunes played by The Charlie River Band and approximately 150 CRI
members, coaches, staff, family and friends attending.
A SPECIAL thank you to all the volunteers who helped plan the
cookout and helped the day of the cookout. A group enjoyed a row in the
barge thanks to Karianne. A fun time was had by all after a fun-filled
day including the CBC invitational regatta and races in tubbies and
doubles organized by Isaac.

Volunteer in New Hampshire
Hello CRI!
I have a request for
volunteers for an adaptive Military Veterans event on 7/29 in NH!
CRI
has been asked by the New England Handicapped Sports Association to
participate in the New England Summer Sports Clinic on Thursday, July
29.
This is an AWESOME event sponsored by the Wounded
Warrior Organization. It's in New Hampshire at Lake Sunapee. This is a
four day event, we are scheduled to be with biathalon on Thursday. We
would probably need someone to head up Wednesday night (paid for) and
stay over (unless you wanted to trek up with the equipment at the
crack). Any volunteers that go would need to bring up a couple of boats
(they have an alden or two) and some ergs. You would coach 2 sessions
(one morning and another in the afternoon). Should be really fun, these
Sunapee folks are the best!
Might be an awesome way to spend a Thursday!
Let
me know what you think and if you're interested in representing CRI
