April 1, 2010 Dear CRI Members and Supporters,
CRI is about Community. Rarely do we have an opportunity to experience the extraordinary community spirit that was witnessed here at the boathouse in the final hours of our Boathouse for All Campaign last night. Thanks to the unbelievable outpouring of generosity, Community Rowing has a foundation and a home that will serve generations. We will always be the rowing club that ran out of a skating rink---thanks to the determination of Jane, Alyson, Dick, Harry, Kurt, Andy, and ONE THOUSAND SEVEN HUNDRED other people, we have a beautiful tool that we will use to share both our sport and our spirit on the water.
