VIEW THE UNIQUE ART WORK ON DISPLAY IN CRI's LOBBY.
Mosiac

ABOUT THE ARTIST: Anna Comella, a Boston-based artist, is exhibiting her

mosaic work in the lobby of Community Rowing through the end of April.  The
piece was selected by Comella for display at Community Rowing and is meant
to reflect an oar coming out of the water and also the design left on the
water by the oar. The price for the work is $3,000 and Anna has offered to
donate 25% of the sale to CRI. Anna Comella can be reached through email at
annacomella@rcn.com

ABOUT THE PIECE: The original work is made from recycled Fort Point Arts
show brochures on red canvas and is a tribute to one of her studios in Fort
Point.   In collaboration with Artaic Innovation Mosaics of Boston, the 7" x
4"originalwork has been fabricated into a 6' x 3' mosaic work, made up of
over 10,000 glass tiles.  Comella used Artaic's patent-pending software and
fabrication process to translate the work from canvas to tile.
