The Coaching Education Lecture Series at Community Rowing Inc. is pleased to host Rachele Pojednic with her presentation titled: "Strength Training Rowers: Program Design & Implementation."

Rachele M Pojednic,
Ed.M, CSCS
Rachele Pojednic comes to CRI with a wealth of knowledge
from both the rowing community and academia. Rachele holds a Bachelor of
Science degree in Cardiopulmonary and Exercise Science from Northeastern University,
where she coxed the Varsity Men from 2000-2003.
She has also earned an Ed.M from Boston University
in Physical Education and Coaching.
Currently, she is working on her PhD in Exercise Physiology and
Nutrition at Tufts
University. Rachele is recognized by the National
Strength and Conditioning Association (NSCA) as a Certified Strength and
Conditioning Specialist (CSCS). She has
been the Strength Coach for the Men's Rowing teams at Northeastern University
and MIT for the past three seasons.
Outside of rowing, Rachele has worked as an Assistant Strength Coach at Boston University
training the National Championship Men's Hockey team. Prior to joining the CRI team, she had been
the Fitness Director and Head Strength and Conditioning Coach at Thayer Academy
in Braintree, MA.
Rachele's conditioning philosophy utilizes an array of contemporary
training models to ensure athletes, both at the youth and elite level, avoid
injury and attain their personal goals.
