CRI Wine Tasting

This past Saturday, nearly 300 CRI members and guests turned out to support CRI's 11th Annual Wine Tasting & Auction. Thanks to everyone's generosity more than $27,000 was raised for CRI's Community Outreach Programs.  It was a beautiful fall evening and there was a tremendous sense of pride and joy to be able to host the event at our own home-CRI's Harry Parker Boathouse.  It was also great to see members from other boat clubs up and down the Charles also attend.

The Women's Comp Team outdid themselves with the hors d'oeuvres this year as guests feasted on Crostini with Artichoke Tapenade, Antipasto Squares, and Paté aux Deux Saumons.  Many current as well as Alumni Parents from CRI's Youth Comp Programs came by to say hello and catch up with their fellow parents. In addition,it was great to have so many new CRI members from our Learn to Row, Sweeps and Scullers Program attend.

The event would not have been the success it was without our sponsors: Cambridge Trust Company, Jane & Bob Morse, Howie Schmuck, Mariner Insurance Harvard Pilgrim Health, The Gillis Family, Hugh and Sue Scott, Women's Competitive Team, Ithaca Beer Company and Gordon Liquors. In addition, CRI would like to acknowledge the following individuals who donated items for the silent and live auctions: Howie Schmuck, Laurie Tenaglia, Maura Glandorf and Gail Silberstein from Rower's Edge, Max Ultimate Foods, Kaite Jones, Belle Tenaglia, Donna Conlin, Seth Davis, Gerry Roy, Steve Halperin, Michael Milburn, Ted Ackworth and Artaic, Julianna Bruce, Debbie Knapp, Russell Schneider and SLC Rentals, Susan Shaffer, Joe Walsh at BU, Coach John Keh, Sarah Turfano, Peggy Richardson and Bullfinchs, AJ Rourke, Cambridge Common, Cathleen Foster, Anderson Burrell, Nancy Clark, Julius and Rocky Levin, Sheldon Miller at Craftsbury, Rob Dalton, Bartlett Leber, Debbie Grinnell, Nonna Gale, Anne Eisenmenger, Jane Morse, Joe Onstott, Rogaris Law Firm, Diane Roy, Cambridge Trust Company, Cambridge Bike, Buzz Congram and the Chieftain Inn.

Also-A big thank you to the behind the scenes crowd who helped make the night so enjoyable: Carol Krauss (Big big thanks to Carol from Maura J), Pam Wayne, Catherine Truman, Roberta Turri-Vise, Elisabeth and Alec Zimmer, AJ Rourke, Liz Kotsurko, Kristen LePage, and many others.
