CRI Rowers compete at Cambridge Boat Club Centennial Invitational
The regatta celebrated Cambridge Boat Club's 100th anniversary. Teams were only told that they had to bring 10 men and 10 women averaging 45yrs. Boating and lineup strategies varied significantly - some boatings were mixed, some all men or all women. Teams ranged from current elite rowers to Olympic veterans to established club rowers to newcomers. Start/finish of each relay leg was at CBC dock, with stakes downstream. The course was buoyed similar to HOCR and State Police controlled boat traffic during the race. |
