The Harleston Parker Medal jury has voted to recommend the CRI's Harry Parker Boathouse, by Anmahian Winton Architects (AWA), for this year's Harleston Parker Medal. The recommendation will be presented to the Boston Society for Architects' membership in December for formal endorsement.  This prestigious award is presented to: "such architects as shall have completed.....the most beautiful piece of architecture, building, monument or structure within the limits of the City of Boston."

Past winners of the Parker Medal include the Genzyme Center (Behnisch, Behnisch & Partner; House & Robertson Architects; Next Phase Studios), the Institute for Contemporary Art ( Diller Scofidio + Renfro with Perry Dean Rogers Partners), and the Lincoln School (Graham Gund Architects).

The Harleston Parker Medal is the third architectural award Anmahian Winton has received for the Harry Parker Boathouse. In 2008, The Center for Architecture in New York, presented AWA its "P/A Award" for the building's smart and progressive design, followed by the Chicago Athenaeum Museum of Architecture and Design's, "American Architecture Award" for the facility's cutting edge characteristics.
