Exciting News!

We have just received confirmation that Consigli Construction is going to level the bay floors in the Harry Parker Boathouse.  This is great news - no additional cost to CRI, and we'll be able to use the boat lifts and rolling racks with confidence!   The asphalt plants are open, we have an agreement that the project will be completed at no cost to CRI, and the contractor indicated today that after several delays we are confirmed for Tuesday.
 
The REALLY exciting news is that this will be happening THIS TUESDAY!!!  Yes, that's right!!! This coming Tuesday!!!  
We will work hard with all of our rowers and coaches to make sure that this won't slow down our programming.  
 
The Plan
 
  1. Make low boys over the weekend and all day Monday (email Seth if you are handy with a table saw)
  2. Leave the boats outside on Monday night on lowboys that we will be making all weekend
  3. Let the contractors complete the work over the course of four days.
  4. Continue operating from the outside and enjoy the nostalgia of our pre-Home Sweet Home days
  5. Move back in on Thursday or Friday when the floors are complete and the racks are re-installed
 
We hope that we will be able to move back in on Friday.

Harry Parker Boathouse 2nd Floor CLOSED Tonight at 4PM. 

Please note: This evening the 2nd floor of the boathouse is closed for a private event and the ergs/weights will not be accessible until 5am Saturday morning.  The boat bay and sculling pavilion are open as usual until 8:30pm this evening.
