CRI wants to thank Seth Davis, CRI's Boat Rigger, for keeping us safe and snow free all winter long!  Instead of hiring an expensive plow service, CRI has purchased a plow and Seth has kindly volunteered to clear the snow whenever a winter storm hits the area, even on the weekends! Seth arrives extra early in the mornings to plow our parking lot so the 5:45am rowers can access the parking lot and the front door.  If need be, Seth gives up his weekends to make sure the lot is clear for Saturday programs and Monday morning classes.  All in all, Seth says, "It's fun operating the plow and Niko enjoys her role as co-pilot."
THANKS, SETH FOR ALL YOUR HARD WORK THIS WINTER!!

At the CRI board meeting in January, the board elected officers for the year and approved the chairs of several board committees.  The committees and their goals for the year are described below.  Please consider volunteering for a committee that interests you.  It's a great way to put in the volunteer hours to meet each of our volunteer commitment.

Jane Morse              President
Peter Silberstein      Vice President
Jamie Hintlian         Secretary/Clerk
Kelley Doyle             Treasurer

Loryn Sheffner, CRI's Vice President for the past 3 years, is stepping down from her responsibilities as Vice President but will continue on the board.  We all thank Loryn very much for her leadership as Vice President and particularly as chair of the boathouse committee, and are glad that she will continue to support CRI in the years to come.
