Please Welcome CRI's New Board Members for 2009: Maura Glandorf and Lila McCain

Maura Glandorf

Maura Glandorf 1
Maura Glandorf's three daughters and their participation on the Junior Women's team led her to take a leadership role as head of the Parents Association and most recently as Co-Founder of Rowers Edge.  CRI is very fortunate that she has agreed to continue her service by accepting a position on the board.  Maura has a wealth of business experience to bring to the Board of Community Rowing. She recently retired from a decade at Meridian Investments where she was CFO and, most recently, President of Meridian Clean Fuels (a renewable energy equity placement firm). Prior to her involvement with Meridian, she served as President of Texas Emergency Medical Services, Treasurer of a Boston based consulting engineering firm and earned her CPA working at Ernst and Young. A graduate of Boston College, Maura recently joined forces with Gail Silberstein to form Rowers Edge, a consulting firm specializing in college recruiting for rowers.

Lila McCain

Lila McCain
Lila McCain has been a member of CRI off and on since it opened in the mid 80's and now row with the Women's Comp team. Her daughter Sonya is on the Novice Girls' team and husband Peter rows with the Comp Men's team. So she has a vested interest in CRI and would like to help integrate the various programs and teams to further strengthen the CRI community.

This spring Lila served on the search committee for the executive director and currently is one of the leads on the social committee.

Lila works for a private not-for-profit as director of human resources and feels she can leverage her experience with organizational development and HR administration on the CRI board as we enter our first full year in the new boathouse.
