This past weekend, Head Varsity Girls' Coach Ethan Curren travelled to Saratoga Springs, New York to receive what is regarded as one of the most prestigious awards for coaching in the world of rowing: the Junior North American Rowing Coach of the Year Award.

Once a year this award is presented at The Joy of Rowing Conference to the most outstanding youth coach in the Nation.  For the last 14 years, over 250 coaches from across the United States and Canada attend this conference in Saratoga Springs, NY.

In 2008, Ethan lead CRI's Varsity Girls team to achieve an all time record  number of Championship titles, including The Head of the Charles, Canadian Henley, and CanAmMex.  It is no wonder his rowers go on to the top rowing colleges in the country.  For more than a decade Ethan has committed himself to building one of the most respected youth competitive programs in the country.

Please join us in congratulating, Coach Curren for this impressive honor.
