CRI Competitive Youth & Novice Parents Raise $200,000
To Name Lobby in CRI's Harry Parker Boathouse

Jane Morse, CRI Board President, is thrilled to announce that more than seventy parents of CRI Competitive and Novice Team rowers, have reached their goal of securing $200,000 in funding for CRI's new boathouse.

This fundraising effort was launched in the fall of 2006, when six sets of parents bundled their gifts for a total of $100,000 and presented a challenge grant to the other CRI families. CRI is very grateful to the Fleckenstein family, Maura & Joe Glandorf, Barbara Herrmann & Tom Gonsiorowski, Jane & Ted Les, Frank & Lida Lloyd, and Mason & Laurie Tenaglia for helping the fundraising get off to a great start.

CRI would also like to acknowledge all of the CRI parents who contributed to the campaign, especially Fundraisier Extraordinaire, Phil Wong, who worked diligently to secure the final $20,000 over this past summer and early fall.

CRI looks forward to hosting a reception to unveil the plaque in the lobby of the boathouse that will list the names of the contributing families. More details to follow
