$14,500,000 Raised for CRI's Harry Parker Boathouse
Due to the tremendous leadership of CRI's Steering Committee, the campaign has recently secured an additional $1,200,000 in donations and pledges. Gifts now total more than $14,500,000 raised toward our $15,600,000 goal.
It has always been a campaign goal to have 100% member participation. With the official opening of the Harry Parker Boathouse next week, NOW is the time for all CRI members who have yet to contribute to the campaign to do so.
To date records show 6 out of 10 CRI members have made a gift to the boathouse. CRI is relying on the remaining 400 members to support the campaign. Please join the 600 other CRI members and be part of something special.

Thank You Work Party Volunteers!
Many thanks to all who turned out on Saturday morning to help move into the boathouse. We had a wonderful set of team leaders and many willing workers and we got through the task list very quickly. All the ergs and weights that had spent the season in the tent were washed and carried up to the second floor of the boathouse. The club singles and doubles and the club oars were also washed and moved onto racks in the sculling pavillion.
A VERY IMPORTANT NOTE for all who use the sculling equipment: the new racking system requires that boats are put on the racks in a very specific way. All club boats are to be put into the pavilion BOW FIRST. In addition, there are TWO PIECES OF TAPE on each boat indicating where the boat should be lined up with the racks. Please be extra cautious when taking a boat out of or into the pavilion. Before taking a boat out, note the tape marks & make sure to line them up again when you return from your row.
ALL OF THE BOATS ARE CLEAN! Let's keep them that way. There are fresh towels & volunteers changing the towels out each week. Please keep the towels off of the floor & give the hull & tracks a good wipe-down after each row. This applied to the sculling boats and will apply to the sweep boats as soon as they are moved into the main boathouse.
