Comp. Girls Win Gold at Canadian Henley!
Congratulations to the Comp. Girls and Coach Ethan Curren for an incredible performance at the Canadian Henley this past weekend. The Comp. Girls won both the Junior Women's Four and Eight events at the Canadian Henley last week. A feat that has only been achieved one other time in the history of the Canadian Henley and that was in 2005 by CRI Comp. Girls. According to Ethan CRI is the only American team to win both. Results

Group Leaders Needed for Work Party
A meeting for Group leaders is scheduled for August 19th at 6pm at the River. Group leaders will be in charge of a small number of volunteers who will work on one of the following tasks:
Proctor - Final clean out
Gas cans and locker move
Moving launches
Clearing site and site preparation
General clean up
The work party is scheduled for August 23rd from 8:30am - noon. The volunteer hour log book will be available and volunteers should sign in and record their hours when they arrive. This work party is considered Stage 1 of a four stage move in process. If you are not able to volunteer for this work party there will be more opportunities to volunteer to help move CRI into the new boathouse this September. |
B-Row Program Starts This Week!
On Monday the B-Row (Boys-Row) program began and will run every afternoon for the next two weeks. The free program is offered for boys between the ages of 11 and 16 who attend the Oak Square YMCA Summer Camp, The West End House and the Commonwealth Housing Tenants Association. |
