After practice Thursday evening, under spectacular orange skies, Sweeps 1, Sweeps 2 and Learn to Row came together for a festive cookout near Proctor.  Pictured above, Sweeps 1 rowers put down their plates to take a group shot.  Below, Cristina Viera's VERY ENTHUSIASTIC Learn to Row class gathers for a group shot.

As the evening went the groups mingled a bit, sharing how their practices went... Sweeps 1 and 2 spoke of their Thursday bridge to bridge timed pieces, while LTR shared their excitement over their first experience rowing "through a bridge, and back all in one practice!"  By the end of the evening, LTR said they were ready to do a "bridge to bridge" piece next class.  So if you see a crazy group of adult rowers tonight or Thursday in a pocock rowing upstream towards Arsenal Bright yelling "BRIDGE... to BRIDGE" as they row from finish to catch... wish them luck because its their 3rd night out in a real boat!  GO LTR!!
