baby blues bbq

www.babybluesvenice.com

This traditional bbq spot has been around since 2004 but my extended family from Texas just found it. Their recipes are part Memphis, part North Carolina (if that means anything to any TN or NC transplants out there), for the rest of us they are just amazing! The restaurant itself isn't the easiest to get into, be prepared to wait, but the catering is amazing, they do packages starting at $13.95 per person and your guests won't believe they are eating them in Venice, California. Be sure to try the mac 'n cheese and cornbread on the side. read more

Gurumommy: What is most important in getting back in shape after you have a baby?
Mandy: Make a date with yourself, it is important to schedule workouts. especially with children, it is so easy to put everything else before yourself.

Recently in the NY Times , Dr. Klass wrote and article asking: 'How many words can he say? Can she put two or more words together into a sentence? Can people besides you understand him when he talks? Questions like these, put to the parents, are the quick and somewhat crude yardsticks we often use.' read more
