Application Corner
Please ask about the tools and products necessary to create a Hybrid Master controller. MotoTron and its partners have deep experience designing in building Hybrid master controls using MotoHawk and our electronic controllers.
We have a Controls centric simulation model for doing component selection and sizing. We also have the capability to develop, implement and calibrate the Hybrid master control system. |

MotoHawk® Model-Based Development
--------------------------------------------------------------
ECU Hardware Optimization Benefit
On the surface, it seems that MotoHawk is a target based code generation platform for the production controller.
While true, our customers are finding that one of the most important benefits of our framework strategy is the ability to properly separate hardware and software design and validation. Prototype programs are run to facilitate the generation of a proper hardware requirements document that can lead to the optimization of the ECU content and cost.
This is very different benefit from just code generation. Please ask me to explain a number of other benefits that are not obvious to the casual eye.
CCP Master/Bypass Feature
This one is for you bypass rapid prototyping folks. We have released the CCP Bypass function for bypass mode rapid prototyping. If you need additional computation or I/O of your MotoHawk module, or you want to reduce the costs of your in-vehicle hardware, ask about our new features for MotoHawk customers.

MotoHawk® Training
April 22-24, Columbus, IN
Bring your team to learn about MotoHawk. At this class, you will gain systems engineering tips and knowledge on the design and implementation of good software using model-based design techniques, code generation, and the MotoHawk framework.
SAE World Congress, Detroit
April 14-17
Meet MotoTron at Booth #2007 in Cobo Hall. We'll have our latest products on display as well as personnel available to discuss the MotoHawk value proposition.
I also invite you to participate in my AVL Technology Café (Booth #1387) on Tuesday April 15. I will be sharing experiences of the production use of code generation in a model-based process with tips on focusing on IP generation, optimizing ECU hardware costs, and reducing engineering cost and time.
Alternative Fuel Vehicle Institute, Las Vegas
May 12-14
Please join us at booth #105 at AFVI. This year, we will be showing off our products for alternative fuel engine control and will be updating our progress on the MotoHawk electric motor drive target.
