This workshop helps improve the skills of the non-finanical manager. In it, we take an in-depth look at at the essentials of using financial information to make effective decisions about improving business performance and obtaining financing.  Venture Forward is targeted specifically to entrepreneurs who have at least two years of experience running their businesses and want to create a strong growth plan. EMU & MI-SBTDC combine to create entrepreneurship internship program |
Eastern Michigan University and the MI-SBTDC have created a new internshop program for EMU Entrepreneurial students to tackle pressing concerns for small businesses. Under the supervision of MI-SBTDC counselors, these students will work with businesses on a variety of entrepreneurial projects. Ideal clients will have at least 10 employees. SBA to hold minority certification 8(a) pre-qualification meetings monthly |
 The Wayne County One Stop Business Resource Center will host monthly 8(a) Business Development programs that help minority small businesses gain a foothold in government contracting. Upon enrollment in this program, firms receive help with finding contracts, proposal preparation, and contract administration The monthly pre-qualification meetings will be held on the first Wednesday of each month from 9 am - noon at the MI-SBTDC Wayne County One Stop location at 2727 Second Avenue.
