Cleantech Portfolio Company Updates
Energy
Community Energy, Inc. announced the sale of a 7.8 MW solar project in Vineland, NJ, to Constellation Energy. The 40-acre project was brought together quickly by Community Energy's experienced team, acting in partnership with the City of Vineland and Constellation Energy. Community Energy also announced a 15-year agreement to sell to Exelon Generation power and renewable energy credits from a 6 MW solar project in Lancaster County, PA, the largest in the state.

GroSolar is constructing several large solar arrays, including a 1.5 megawatt array for Clean Harbors to help clean groundwater at a landfill site in New Jersey and a 1.5 megawatt solar field at Longwood Gardens in Pennsylvania. GroSolar sold its residential division to SolarCity in February and is focusing on large-scale commercial installations and distribution.
Materials Reuse and Recycling
CleanScapes has been awarded a multi-year contract to provide recycling and solid waste removal services for the City of Des Moines, WA. The contract continues the ongoing expansion for CleanScapes, which Inc. Magazine in 2010 named the fastest growing environmental services company in the United States.
eRecyclingCorps is proud to be the enabling partner of the Sprint Buyback Program which CNET recently identified as the "Best Option" to trade-in your phone "beat(ing) its rivals in ways to put an old phone out to pasture." eRecyclingCorps also proudly supports the Lifeline Cell Phone Program which provides almost 15M families the option of having a free cell phone and service based on financial need.
Sustainable Food and Agriculture
Rustic Crust announced that CEO Brad Sterl is an Ernst & Young Entrepreneur of the Year 2011 New England finalist. The company produces and sells its own line of organic, all natural and gluten free pizza crusts as well as the American Flatbread pizza brand. BB Hobbs recently began its second large fertigation project in Angola, Africa, helping residents there grow food products with higher water efficiency. The company is a leader in drip irrigation and liquid fertilizer systems for vegetable and fruit crops.

MediaMath announced that it has received a second straight OnMedia 100 award. The OnMedia 100 is AlwaysOn's annual list of the top 100 private digital media companies in the United States. As part of this award, MediaMath was recognized for creating the demand-side platform industry.
ServiceChannel was named 2011 national Vendor of the Year by the Professional Retail Store Maintenance Association for exemplifiying excellence in retail facilities management. ServiceChannel provides a platform that retail facilities managers can use to identify, register, manage and pay service contractors.
Business Services
Telkore was nominated for Technology Company of the Year in Central Pennsylvania. TECHQuest writes of the communication tower services company, "Telkore's real success is in its quality employees on the ground and in the air."
