|Jesus in Love serves gay, lesbian, bi and trans (glbt) people who have spiritual interests, and our allies. We promote queer spirituality and the arts, with an emphasis on books and images. We believe that God loves all people, including sexual minorities. We believe that the creative process is sacred. We hope that the new visions, especially the gay Jesus, will free people to experience the divine in new ways and lead to a more just world.
Enjoy a rainbow of diverse visions in this issue, including black lesbian prayers, a Mexican lesbian nun, and the gay men who wore the pink triangle. Don't miss the Jesus icon that some call "pornographic"!

Is this a sexual Jesus?|
Oklahoma churchgoers are upset over what they see as a "pornographic" Jesus.
Some don't notice what is "obscene" about the icon until they read about the phallic image on Jesus' abdomen that the supposedly moralistic people perceived. A few actually quit the church over this.
