GLBT Holy Week art and readings are running now through Easter at the Jesus in Love Blog.
 
Each daily post has a scene from Kittredge Cherry's novel At the Cross.

The dramatic events of Christ's Passion happen in the context of a gay love story between Jesus and his beloved disciple John.

Artists include F. Douglas Blanchard, Becki Jayne Harrelson, William Hart McNichols, Corinne Quinones, Gary Speziale, and Dirk Vanden.

Saints Perpetua and Felicity were brave North African woman friends who died for their faith in the 3rd century.

They are often included in lists of LGBT saints because they show the power of  love between two women. 

Perpetua's journal is the first known written document by a woman in Christian history.  More info
