Greetings!

As we approach the 2008-2009 AGA year, we would like to encourage all members to become more involved with their local AGA chapter.  A great way to become involved is by joining the AGA Membership committee.  Participating in the Membership Committee will provide you with an opportunity to get to know your AGA colleagues, participate in planning AGA events and get an inside look as to how the AGA New York Capital Chapter operates.
Membership has its Benefits!

As a member of the AGA New York Capital Chapter, you know that our chapter offers numerous educational opportunities at a great price.  Our goal is to recruit and retain AGA members so they can benefit from these events. Some of the events that will be held in the 2008-2009 year include:

  • Audio conferences - covering management, audit and accounting topics
  • Seminars on fraud and other emerging government accountability issues
  • Certification panel discussion
  • Annual Holiday and Appreciation Luncheons
  • Many more events to be planned!

By joining the membership committee, you will have the ability to direct both members and non-members towards success in their careers.  Help recruit and retain members by informing them of these wonderful learning opportunities. As members of the AGA membership committee, we will notify people of these opportunities via local job fairs, social events, AGA newsletter articles and round table discussions.

We are looking for people like you to bring fresh, new ideas to our chapter.  Don't lose out on this great opportunity!  Contact Danielle Rancy at 518-474-3271, or Deanna Dowd at 518-474-6008 to join the Membership Committee.

We look forward to working with you this year!
