With transparency and accountability as the watchwords for effective, efficient and honest government, performance reporting should be on the political agenda of any official who wishes to convey how and on what government is spending tax dollars.

Please join us for two hours of lively discussion about this important and timely topic.  In addition to the speakers' commentary, there will be approximately 20 minutes for Q & A so that the participants can ask the speakers questions and share their own experiences.

SPOTLIGHT
Want to get more out of your AGA membership?

One of the best ways to get more out of your membership is to participate in one of the Chapter's committees.  Committee participation can help enhance your career by providing networking opportunities with other professionals and a chance to develop and enhance your leadership skills.  Throughout the year, we will spotlight the different committees in our email communications.

Committee Spotlight:  Membership Committee

Committee Leader:  Danielle Rancy, Vice President, Membership

What We Do: The Membership Committee works to develop new and unique ways to recruit new members.  We  also focus on how to retain our current members by consistently promoting activities that address their needs.  Committee members participate in recruitment sessions held at local job fairs and coordinate social and professional events in conjunction with other Chapter committees.  We also let other professionals know about the benefits of membership in our chapter; one such benefit are the reduced costs to attend the numerous events that are held.  The Membership committee also hosts events just for members, previous events included the "How Did I Get to Be Me" breakfast speaker series.

What to Know More?:  Joining the Membership Committee is a great way to get to know your AGA colleagues, participate in planning AGA events and get an inside look at to how the AGA New York Capital Chapter operates.

To join the Membership Committee, email Danielle Rancy.
